The Go Global Air Tickets, Inc. booking system uses live, real-time information and pricing direct from all the major Computer Reservation Systems. All major airlines feed their available seats and prices into four central reservation systems that are owned by various airlines. The systems are Apollo, Sabre, WorldSpan and Galileo. This means that you have access to the same data used by travel professionals around the world 24 / 7.
The fares in our system are the lowest Published, Web and Consolidated fares available. More often than not, two people on the same flight have paid completely different fares due to changing availability, "price wars" and timing of purchase, etc. Airlines change their prices based on demand, if a certain flight is selling well, the price will increase. If another flight is empty, the fare will drop until the airline gets some bookings. As a result, fares and inventory are changing every minute. If the flight you want does not display the fare you are expecting, it is because the fare is not applicable, the fare class has already been sold out, or because you have not followed our suggestions below.
On any given day between two major airports, there are over two hundred different fare types. It would be inefficient to display them all, with the extensive details and rules.
Please read the help section first, and follow the suggestions below to take advantage of the lowest fares available. These guidelines are not absolute and may not apply in every situation. But, by following them you should be able to find the lowest fares most of the time. Let our reservation interface do the work for you and save a Bundle
Try to stay over a Saturday night, this is a standard for flying round-trip, because business travelers tend to want to be home for the weekend.
Buy your tickets more than 21days in advance. If you are making inquiries into flights that are sooner than 21 days from now, they are likely to be more expensive. The advance purchase schedule varies from 21 days to 3 days. The lowest International fares usually require a 21 day advance purchase. There is usually a 14 day advance purchase fare, there may be a 7 day advance purchase.
Pick the right days of the week. Sometimes you will run into day and time restrictions. Basically, this means that some days of the week are cheaper than others. Currently, for most airlines, it's cheapest to fly on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday. The difference is usually $20 to $30 per direction.
Demand explains why it is cheaper to fly on a weekday (when fewer people are traveling), at odd hours, or on days other than major holidays. Airlines change their prices based on competition. We suggest you select "Any Time" in the departure time.
Avoid Holidays, traveling during the holidays is notoriously expensive. In addition, most airlines have black-out days around popular holidays. However, the actual day of the holiday (i.e. Memorial Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, etc) is commonly not a black-out day and seats are often available right up to the last minute. Flying on the day of a major holiday can sometimes be a way around poor availability and expensive fares.
